Reported Crop Circles for the State of Oregon -

Whiskey Hill / Hubbard, Clackamas County (July 23, 1998)

This formation became one of the most-visited crop circles in the USA, even though when it was first spotted from the air, researchers had a difficult time locating it on the ground as it was not visible from any road. No pathways led into the formation when first discovered. The formation was approx. 250’ x 170’ in size, and the largest circle was 39’. One ‘grapeshot’ circle was about 100’ away to the SW. The formations circles were swirled counter-clockwise and the pathways were consistently 2’ in diameter. The formation appeared very close to major intersection of high tension power lines running through the field, and was in a depression in the field. This field has subsequently hosted formations in 1999 and 2000. Anecdotal reports have trickled in suggesting that the same field has had circles maybe dating back into the 1920's or 1930's. The formation was also in close proximity to two previous formations in the Willamette Valley – Lebanon, OR 1995, and Salem, OR 1997.
