Reported Crop Circles for the State of Pennsylvania -

Ebensburg, Cambria County (September 2, 1989)

Around 2:30 p.m. a man near the town of Ebensburg saw a noiseless, stationary floating sphere over his pond from about 50 feet away. The object was approximately 30 feet off the ground, 15 to 20 feet long and 8 to 10 feet high. The witness said it was more spherical in shape, with a silvery upper part and underneath it was orange red.

The witness then saw a mist coming down from the object, when it then moved suddenly "like a hummingbird" and disappeared. The whole sighting lasted about 45 seconds. He then found a four foot tall grassy area underneath where the object had been was swirled down in a 12-foot circular pattern, counterclockwise.

Eyewitness report only.
