Reported Crop Circles for the State
of Wisconsin -
Wausau, Marathon County (August 13, 1997)
A large, triple 'dumbbell'-type formation discovered with the center circle actually a ring.
The late Stephen J. Smith, a paranormal investigator and amateur composer, calculated that the formation’s circle sizes corresponded to diatonic ratios which generated a 5-note scale, yielding the notes D, E, F, G, and A.
