Oskaloosa, Mahaska County, Iowa
A
family of witnesses on a farm described seeing a flying object
‘lit up like a birthday cake’. The object proceeded
to fly over them until they lost sight of it behind a nearby
hill, whereby they retreated to their cyclonic cellar for
the night. The next day they found a large circle in the grass
field behind the hill with several burned areas. Several neighbors
also reported seeing the object in the air.
