Williston, Levy County (1968)
Eyewitness' sketch.
Three
witnesses were out hunting in a lightly forested area when
they heard a "humming" noise and saw a white BOL floating
at the treetop level. The BOL started to descend towards a
nearby pond, and the witnesses all ran for help. When they
returned a short time later, they found a 20' diameter flattened
area of grass which was still warm to the touch (see witness
drawing to left).
